My family and I stayed at the Netherwood Hotel for 2 nights 3-5may. We are a party of six and a small dog, my hsband is disabled and we found the hotel fab. The Hotel had superb public rooms with a great view over Morecambe Bay. The restaurant food was well presented but disappointing with for example the medium beef far too rare and lacking flavour, and a lack of seasonable vegetables as listed on menu. The desserts were satisfactory but not exceptional with too much emphasis on presentation rather than flavour.

We stayed at the Netherwood Hotel for three nights and will be returning soon. We were welcomed with a complimentary upgrade, good start, the staff are all very professional and friendly. Netherwood is set in the most beautiful grounds that are very well maintained. Its a close walk down to grange-over-sands for dinner or to pick up supplies or catch the train. The staff are very friendly and polite. The common rooms such as library and bar are beautiful, with an open log fire in the bar and very attentive staff.... More

My wife and I booked the hotel for a 3 night relaxing break. Everything, the food, the room, the log fires were excellent. We were tired and stressed and needed a relaxing break and that is what we got (as well as a few inches on our waist from the wonderful food) Loved every minute of it.
