Myself and 3 other lads have just spent a night in the rowers to have a night on the toon. The hotel I have stayed in previously was full and finding a couple of twin rooms for Saturday the 3rd Dec was starting to get troublesome until I found the rowers. I read reviews and they were pretty poor in... More

We were attending an event in Newcastle and trying to find rooms was becoming difficult. We were informed of this place and booked a single and a twin room. The rooms are all designed on ships cabins with wooden panelling. It is conveniently placed very close to the Metrocentre and a short taxi ride into Newcastle. We enjoyed our overnight... More

Not a bad hotel but not a good one either! Yesterday myself and my girlfriend spent the night here along with 2 other couples we are friends with. I'm a bit of a tight wad so I chose this based on the fact that it was the cheapest one I could find.... this is solid proof that you get what... More

we had to go to Newcastle for one night and my son booked this hotel. Travelodge and Holiday Inn were all full, and I don't know the area at all. He knows the area and it took him over 30 minutes to find it. We arrived 10 p.m. after a long trip - and ended up driving past it 4... More

i stayed in this hotel, due to a coaching course over the weekend, i read the reviews before booking. and if i'm honest it sounds like people were expecting the Ritz. (that hotel was 200 for the weekend). i paid 80, it did everything i needed a place to sleep shower and have breakfast. yes the rooms are dated but... More

This hotel is on another level of flithy the quilt covers had stains on them that looked like vomit and blood and the smell was unbearable my friends and I slept all night with our coats over us as we refused to use the quilts. There was chewing gum allover the room and the bath was thick with filth, so... More

This hotel is old and tired looking, and a little on the dirty side. But don't be put off the staff are, as has been said, lovely and breakfast was great. You get what you pay for so don't expect 5 star luxury on budget prices. Bus stop right around the corner taking you straight into Newcastle city centre. Taxi... More

….are just two of the things this hotel does not provide. Situated in the middle of an industrial estate, this nautical themed hotel is in need of a complete refurbishment. The staff were friendly, but this is probably the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in, due largely to the standard of cleanliness. The bedrooms, bathrooms... More
