Went in the bar on Saturday afternoon, beer and real cider excellent and dogs permitted in the bar area when asked for bowl of water for dog was no problem def visit again also locals in bar very chatty and friendly

I was booked in to this hotel by my company and I'd rather stay somewhere with character and charm than one of the usual suspects. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the service excellent. There is a large restaurant and a very nice bar offering great drinks

We stayed in room 9 with a 4 poster bed - definitely better than the standard room, there are only 12 rooms so small hotel attached to the pub Perfect for a 1 night stay.
