Stayed 4 nights here and were very happy with the place and the people. Our room was on the top floor with a shared bathroom. Thd bed was a little soft for my liking but possibly perfect for others. High St was a short 5min walk down the Stirling road so easy access to everything. The breakfast was BIG and... More

Stayed at Abbotsford Lodge for two nights while attending a family wedding nearby. Great choice - five star service with nothing being too much trouble. We had a superior double room which had been recently refurbished. Pleasant lounge to sit in and bar service available when required. Liked the breakfast service, being able to choose beforehand what we wanted.

The room we were in was beautifully furnished and I suspect had been recently refurbished. The lounge was also very nice and calming. Wifi reception was a bit weak in the room but fine down in the lounge. The breakfasts were excellent and there was a lot of choice in the cooked breakfast plus numerous cereals, fruit etc. The building... More

Modern lounge and breakfast area but decor not extended to bedrooms so not 4 star. Rooms on middle floor were extremely small and bathrooms very dated (70s) requiring modernisation for price tag. Friends room had a brown suite. TV old fashioned with one channel working. Bed small and mattress broken/needing to be replaced so led to two poor nights sleep.... More

After visiting last year it still was as good if not better the room was spotless and breakfast was up to a high standard. The owner could not do enough not only for us but for everyone,he even dried clothes for a group of cyclists who were drenched not many would have done that.So keep up good work will be back.

This is an absolute gem of a place! The building & decor is tasteful & homely It can be so difficult to find modern, fresh b&bs like this in Scotland. The owners however are what really sold us on this place, they were both friendly & very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas, giving us some great recommendations on places to... More
