I've just spent a day at Douneside House and am genuinely sorry I couldn't stay longer! What a stunning location and just on our doorstep! Fantastic facilities and the staff simply couldn't be more helpful, yet so un-intrusive you would hardly know they were there.

Just spent the weekend at Douneside House on a retreat weekend, Everything about this location is first class, the house is luxurious yet 'homely' the location and grounds are stunning, and the staff excelled in every aspect. I take every opportunity to come back to this lovely hotel. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The grounds are everything you could want from a relaxing break. The real fire in the bar area and a drink with friends is a really nice end to an evening.
