Visiting Barrow on business the Chetwynde Hotel is an ideal place to stay. My wife and I stayed in a standard double room. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was what I expected although the beans had been reheated several times. The town centre is a steady 25mins walk from the hotel.

My husband, children and i had a lovely nights stay at the hotel, rooms were warm clean and comfortable. We also visited the south lakes animal park with the children which is only a 5 minute drive from the hotel. The food from the restaurant was very good, well above average. We would definitely stay here again.
