A fantastic weekend stay! The Clarke's Hotel is comfortable with a good atmosphere and excellent food. We stayed for a weekend (2 nights) and this clearly wasn't long enough. We traveled up by train from London, and whilst that is doable (4 hours, 1 change), a few more nights and a car would have been brilliant so we would have... More

We booked using a short break voucher and upgraded to a sea view (£10 per night) The view is worth every penny. Room 4 is large warm and very comfortable with a king size bed, wifi is available and free. The food in the restaurant is first class with enough choices for most tastes. The staff are without exception pleasant... More

Had 2 night stay using a voucher and paid a little more for the sea view..the sea was in view but half a mile away! Nice open aspect and a lot quieter than those hotels we have used in the town centre. 10 min drive out of Barrow and plenty of free parking. Breakfast was a good selection and hot... More

Taking advantage of a groupon voucher, we stayed here last weekend in order to travel around the lake district as it is within easy driving distance of all the lakes, (and obviously much cheaper) and was pleased with our decision to do so. Had everything we needed, clean, quiet, good beds, nice linen/towels/toiletries, good shower, and nice views across the... More

My husband and I have stayed in this hotel last weekend (14th March). It is in a lovely spot with spectular views across Morecambe Bay, and when it is clear you can even see Blackpool....... The room was lovely - nicely decorated, spacious, clean (ask for sea view rooms). The staff were lovely too and nothing was too much trouble.... More
