Stayed for just a Friday night to avoid driving home after the works Xmas Do! Booked via Laterooms, but neither their confirmation nor the Brocket's own were needed at the speedy check in.Double room rather on the small side, but clean and well equiped-bathroom again compact, but modern, spotless and with a nice hot towel rail!. Room wasn't quite ready... More

I stayed here for 3 nights in late September, mainly for theTottenham game but also as a base to visit some of the many Industrial Heritage sights in the area. 15 minutes walk from town centre/train stations and on a bus route makes this an attractive option. Room was comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. The bar/pub downstairs (J D Wetherspoons),... More

No kids allowed in bar after 9.30, we were ushered to reception with our drinks where we were advised by other members of staff to make it our... More

Stayed while working in the area as there are no Holiday Inn's in the area. This pub/hotel is a mile out of town so the pub is more like a suburban local with lovely old regulars. The beer range and quality is very good and the food the two times I have stayed has been very good. Both rooms I... More
