We had a lovely week at Lower Hyde. The accomodation was clean and cosy. The Team Stars were amazing. Tiffany, Tamworth, Ty, Donna and Hattie as well as Flash made our family feel very welcome. We only had a short stay but organisation at Lower Hyde is so good that no time was wasted in settling in and getting out and about. 9am Sunday morning, the first day of our holiday we were woken by a big 'sit on' lawnmower cutting grass outside our caravan. By Friday they had workmen using a big machine to thump wooden fence posts into the ground at 8AM!!!! Upon arrival we had a nightmare parking, Drink were so expensive, Caravan was very basic (expected) but the drainer on the sink was clogged with mouldy food. They said go to pool in the other camp site, also park resort, because it is better. No soap to wash before going in the pool, water freezing cold in shower. Pool dirty / full of hair. Had to come out straight away. Evening entertaiment is not mini disco, its just couple of games and thats it. No childrens clubs.... More
