we strayed into the avalon after a friends wedding and liked it so much we stayed the night. Really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of the bar and the local info from the bar staff was very helpful. Absolutely fantastic, well worth a visit. The Rooms at the front of the hotel are big bright and airy, High ceiling victorian rooms, but the rooms are warm.
