Staff were very welcoming and supportive. Room 8 was ok though on a bit of a slope - not a problem and views made up for it. Shower was adequate. In the centre of Ilfracombe so a bit of noise in the evening but did not affect us.

We stayed at the same time last year so decided to include it on our short tour of Devon and Cornwall this year as well. Location is excellent; right by the harbour and close to car parks, shops and eateries etc. Lovely rooms (we had a double room plus a single for our 14 year old son) and great breakfast!...

We stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We arrived quite late but received a very warm welcome from Ruth and were shown up to a room with 3 sea views. We found all of the staff really welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was cooked just how we had requested and was really nice.
Thank you :-)

Me and my girlfriend stayed for two nights and couldn't of asked for more. Perfect location in ilfracombe with plenty of shops, pubs, and cafes nearby. The room was very nice and being on the top floor had a good view over the harbour. Can't comment on the restaurant as we didn't eat in at night but the breakfast in...

Harbour Lights is conveniently located in the heart of the Ilfracombe harbour. We found the owner and her framily to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. The accomadtion is adequate but a bit dated, although we had free wi-fi. Apart from the overcooked sausage & bacon the breakfast was fine. The town is well worth a visit, with lots of places...

We were given a warm welcome by Steve and Ruth. Our room was clean and comfortable with large ensuite. Wall mounted tv was on the small side but was flatscreen and you dont go on holiday to watch tv, so absolutely adequate. The place had a warm and friendly feel to it and owners Steve and Ruth went out of...

We stayed here for one night on the 1st floor - and from reading other reviews, it does seem that the higher up the building you are the better the accommodation.
Our room was clean and comfortable - but a little dated and generally in need of some work (holes in the floor covered by carpet, a bathroom-style electric fan...

I'm half way through my stay at The Harbour Lights and I'm very pleased that I discovered it. I arrived late afternoon and was welcomed and shown to my room. The restuarant was closed at the time but I found somewhere to eat locally. I was performing at The Landmark Theatre that night and was glad that my room was...
