Large patches of mould on bathroom window, unable to open any windows as no sashcords.Would not sit on chairs in room,very worn & dirty.Heating & hot water very hit & miss. very old timey styling the back of the hotel seems to be over the swimming pool heating duct as soon as you go through the double doors youre hit by the heat and stink of chlorine however the hotel did have a really great bar on the ground floor with lots of cocktails!! and a good variety for breakfast More

This used to be one of the famous Lord Street's finest hotels, it is now sadly one of the worst. Needs closing down IMO! Total dump! Southport its self is lovely, just stay elsewhere as there are plenty fantastic hotels around. More
