He produces consistently good breakfasts of local produce and is a mine of information on the locality. His speciality - the best teashops in Yorkshire, comes in very handy for days... More

Our second visit to Apricot Lodge. Thanks to Sarah and Darran we spent another three fantastic nights enjoying their wonderful hospitality. Just nothing is too much trouble for them. Darran is just such a wonderful walking ( or should I say running , visit and you will see why. ) encyclopaedia of local and not so local information. This certainly... More

Apricot Lodge is set in a nice quiet location, just 5 minutes walk into the town centre. Darran and Sarah are the most hospitable hosts we have encountered. The accomodation is cozy, clean and very relaxing. The breakfasts are superb and we would recommend a stay here. We hope to visit again in the not too distant future. More
