I stayed in the glass fronted bungalow directly overlooking the beach. Very clean, ac was good, a few finishing touches in the bathroom perhaps, but all in all excellent value for money. The beach is very shallow with alot of coral, but the sunsets are amazing. The ferries are visble in and out of nearby port and the views of... More

We stayed 2 nights,we were booked to only stay one night but after staying at another resort for only two nights I just diddent want to stay another night, so drove to the resort to see if we could book in for the extra night, I wish I had stayed for longer, I loved the area, we had the beachfront... Their deluxe bungalows are a health hazard. We upgraded to a beach bungalow on the spot after seeing that bathroom!!! The restaurant is ridiculously overpriced. (However, the cooking itself is great) Breakfast lousy! Super remote. We should have stayed 3 weeks. We stayed 1 night

I decided to stay at this resort as we had stayed on the other side of the island before and thought it would be a nice change to stay on the quieter side away from the hectic environment and chill out in a cheap but cheerful resort. The beach of the resort is great and is probably the best thing... More

Booking Mess-Up: A family friend, who was joining us at the hotel a few days later on, booked via booking.com. When we checked to see which bungalow she would be moving into the hotel claimed that there was no reservation for her in their system. Finally they found the booking, which they had entered a month late, and gave our... More

I booked a beachfront bungalow and the one that they first gave me was a disappointment. First of all it is not a beachfront bungalow because there is a structure in front of it. Also the trees are blocking the seaview completely. The bungalow itself was ok, except of the bathroom which was in bad shape and smelled like sewers... More

The East Coast is crowded by tourists, but if you like it more quiet...we absolutely recommend Am Samui Resort. If you can affort it, it is best to rent a car, because it is secluded...but you will find the beach all for yourself. They only thing we liked less is that the restaurant is very expensive ( for Thailand) ,... More

Stayed there with my partner 2 weeks in 2009, we were looking for a relaxing place right on the opposite of Chaweng Beach and its tumult. Well we did find our little paradise. Compound is really nice, with lush vegetation and palm trees. Bungalows with sea view (we had A10) come with terraces, they are nicely decorated Waiters and staff... More

“It’s a resort for people who don’t like resorts”, as described by the main character of “The Beach”. Am Samui is well hidden from touristic areas, giving you a chance to enjoy this island as a local. The bungalows naturally blend with their tropical surroundings, the sunsets are the best you can catch on Samui. No fireworks, no tailor shops,... More

Great place to stay for a relaxing break. Beautiful scenery and setting. The staff were all friendly and went out of there way to assist with anything we asked. Luckily we stayed in one of the two glass beach huts right next to the beach with fantastic views. I highly recommend visiting even if its just a couple of days.... More
