Great ambience, great place and great people.
The directions to the parking lot or if a valet is available needs to be spruced up a bit too, I would say. I drove up the driveway and down again not to find a slot or any sight of valet. Had to park downstairs, walk up the stairs to the entrance and...

This hotel is in a nice neighbourhood around 25 minute drive from Muscat International Airport (a new airport being opened in a couple of years) and the staff, quite frankly, cannot do enough for you.
Some previous posters have said that the hotel looks tired but I don't think so although you can tell that a lot of traffic passes...

We stayed here for 3 nights before heading south to Finns, near Sur. It is definitely has the wow when you enter. It has a very grand, ornate entrance. We were a family with 3 sons 21,19 and 16. On arrival we were upgraded to a suite at the top of the hotel. It is worth going the extra for...

We stayed just one night after travelling to Muscat from Abu Dhabi for a youth's rugby match. This was only my second visit to Muscat and on both ocassions the service has been just wonderful. Efficient as you would expect from the Hyatt, but with a the warmth I have come to expect in Oman that cannot be found anywhere...

This place was big, and it had a lot to offer. The check in staff was very nice and provided all the instructions necessary in English. The room had everything you need and was very comfortable. The TV channels were very good for English choices and sports. Breakfast was included with my room, and the buffet in the morning had...

The Grand Hyatt is by far the best hotel in Muscat (within the city area). It's relatively close to the airport and has all of the elegance you can imagine. The rooms are lovely and very spacious, the bathroom is enormous, the shower terrific and the bed comfortable.
The lobby and grounds are really beautiful and tastefully done. The staff...

Built in the late 1990’s the Grand Hyatt is perhaps beginning to show its age, but it still a spectacular hotel – I’m sure when it opened it must have been one of the leading hotels in region. The lobby and dining rooms remain stunning – high ceilinged, gold plated Arabic style bling. The rooms have plenty of space, and...

Stayed in this hotel towards end of March just before Easter, it was really quiet and I loved it. It's classed as a business hotel but had everything needed to combine business and pleasure, lovely pool area, plenty of very comfortable sunbeds, lots of room. Buffet was great and so were all the other restaurants in the hotel. The bedrooms...

We took a long family getaway weekend and this was a great hotel to support us. The property is so beautiful and well kept. Furthermore, the standard room was large enough to fit a roll in bed for our daughter. The hotel is very clean and the staff was very helpful. The pool was amazing they even had a small...
