I'm not reviewing as a guest but as a grateful tourist. I traveled three hours by bus from Catania to Agrigento with the intent of seeing the Valley of the Temples. Per information from a website (http://www.valleyofthetemples.com/Visitagrigento.htm), there was supposed to be a guided tour that picked up from CPH at 10:15 a.m. Imagine my disappointment to hear that this...

This was a great find. Hotel rooms do need updating they need TLC but the lounge areas were fantastic as was the breakfast area. The selection of breakfast was great. The staff was friendly especially Giuseppe who looked after the bar and was also a waiter in dining room. Agrigento was not my favourite part of Italy. Apart from the...

CPH has a very good location, with spectacular views of the ruins. The front desk staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful to us, although service in the restaurant at breakfast was disinterested and the selection just acceptable. We had a junior suite which was fine. There were some visible dust bunnies under the wardrobe, but the bathroom was clean, if...

Location of the hotel is excellent for the Valley of the Temples (though a long walk into town for restaurants) and our room was very clean and comfortable. Only niggle was that the air con was totally inefficient and the fridge pumped out a tremendous amount of heat into the room. Having said that, the fridge was very useful for...

Our room was large and clean. The hotel is well-maintained, with its own parking. It is walking distance to the main archeological site, which is a plus because there is little parking at the site. If you stay in the main part of Agrigento I guess you would take a cab or bus. There are two trattoria across the street.

New hotel on hill overlooking ruins, just outside of town. Beautiful landscape and gardens on location, museum quality artwork in lobby, well appointed common areas. Rooms very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff extremely helpful. Excellent restaurant-before dinner, get an apertif and sit outside in comfortable rattan couches under canopy overlooking the gardens. Easy drive to ruins and town.

The German woman at the front desk was great! She recommended we go see the Scala Di Turchi beach, and we absolutely loved it. She was so helpful and full of great suggestions on restaurants and activities!
Great views of the ruins, and comfortable and clean rooms. Not walking distance to a lot of restaurants, but convenient. I would stay...

A warm welcome (and excellent English !) from the reception staff is always a bonus when arriving at an hotel in an unfamiliar location. It was easy to find, being on the southern outskirts of the town. It has free secure off-street parking. The public areas are very comfortable and welcoming. The room (326) was clean and well-appointed, and we...

We enjoyed our stay in Colleverde Park Hotel and found the staff very helpful even when we encountered a flat tire on January 1st when all the mechanics were on vacation. We were two couples and one stayed to enjoy new years eve dinner at the hotel which was rated to have excellent food/menu and the buffet breakfast was good....
