We stayed twice at Villa La Favorita. Once in November during the truffle festival and now we returned last month. Roberta and her staff are extremely careful with all details. Breakfast is great and have different items daily. The rooms are cozy and very comfortable. The location of Villa La Favorita is perfect to visit Alba, Barolo, Barbaresco and other... More

We have been regulars at La Favorita for 10 years. The hostess, Roberta, is wonderful and has the best recommendations of things to do and places to eat in the region. The house is full of art, books a piano, and bottles of wine. The garden includes a vineyard and gorgeous fruit trees. The breakfasts are superlative and varied. It's... More

I have nothing to add to the previous reviews...Villa la Favorita is as good as everyone says. This was my 4th time in Alba and this was the best place I have stayed and I see no reason to go anywhere else. But my god...the breakfasts! We had freshly sliced Parma ham (Roberta is from Parma) every day along with... More

Roberta and her crew have the knack of making you feel as if they are opening their home to you as family come for a visit. Careful thought has gone into designing areas inside and outside so that guests can either gather together, or find a quiet spot just for two. There is a large parking lot since a car... More

We have been back home now for three months and when we talk about our vacation in Italy, we always talk about Villa La Favorita! Not only was Roberta the most wonderful host to everyone, she went out of her to make sure that I always had incredible gluten free food. If you are a Celiac...this is the place to... More

As others have said, the breakfasts are superb, the accommodations beautiful, and Roberta is extremely helpful for English speaking guests. Follow her recommendations - especially for restaurants, and you won't be sorry. Her driving tours are great, too. She knows of what she speaks. Very convenient to Alba, perhaps a twenty minute walk. Even if Giovanna tells you the mosquitos... More

For the second time we spend wonderful days at Villa La Favorita. Camera Rosata was perfect with a small balcony with a view up the hill so beautiful. Giovanna´s breakfast must be experienced. The jam, the ham, the cheese, the cake...all home made and not to forget, the nice little embroidered napkins. Roberta is a perfect hostess with helpful knowledge... More

Just back from a two week trip to Piedmont, Bologna and Tuscany. Without a doubt, our first days in Alba, staying at the Villa Favorita, were the best. Aside from wonderful Alba, with it's wonderful people and food, our stay at Villa Favorita was extraordinary. The delicious breakfasts (best on the trip), the delightful room, the proximity to Alba, the... More

Piemonte is amazing. Hazelnuts, Barolo and Villa la Favorita. We spent 4 nights at Roberta's Agriturismo. Likes its host, the Villa is charming, warm, lovely, and hospitable. The breakfast and views are amazing and we will surely be back. 5 star all the way. Perfect location.

Dating back to the early 1900’s, it is officially recognized as a historic residence, and has been meticulously refurbished in recent years.
