We loved staying here! Clean, spacious, quiet, with beautiful views, terrific breakfast, nice owner. The location is an easy walk from the pedestrian-only section of town, and the rail trail. For cyclists, the location next door to a terrific bike shop (Due&Due) and a good local restaurant made it even better. We couldn't ask for more. More

We had the privilege of staying at the Hotel Villa Alpina hosted by the wonderfully welcoming Signore Elio Zardini in January/February 2012. What can we say about our delightful stay at this historic hotel? Firstly, there is Signore Elio Zardini himself! Elio, with his excellent command of English, his attention to detail and his deep local knowledge of Cortina, makes... More

Me and my husband went to stay at Villa Alpina in January and was very impressed. The decor is dated but everything is clean and tidy and the breakfast although standard is served with the intention to please. The owner speaks very good english and was able to direct us to different resorts and restaurants with ease. The bus stop... More

We wanted to do a drive through the Dolomites and stopped here for the night and wish we could have stayed a week. Very helpful host and the view from our room was breathtaking. We did not have reservations and was doubtful about finding anything but turned out to be no problem at all and a great place just a... More

I stayed with my fiancee at the Villa Alpina for a few days in mid/end March. We had taken a picturesque train journey up from Venice and then a coach from the nearest train station. Even though our Italian was nil the owner spoke a little English. It was a short walk from the centre and good pizzeria and the... More

The room was very big, with a wide bathroom and larde bath. The place has free internet (ask for the password), and it was clean and nicely decorated and had standart breakfast. Right next to the hotel there a nice restaurant (Pizza Vienna) that was very good with reasonable prices. But... there was something about the atmosphere. When we got... More

We stayed in Cortina during their mud season, when most hotels, restaurants, and stores are all closed between the winter and summer season. The room was spacious, bed was large and comfortable, and we had gorgeous views of the nearby mountains. Breakfast was a step up from the usual Italian hotel breakfast in that the bread was freshly baked and... More
