We stayed at the Imperiale in Fiuggi in September 2011 whilst on a tour with Mistral. We found it a good base. We had nice clean rooms and were lucky enough to have balconies both times. The food was nice and the drinks bill reasonable. Fiuggi itself is a nice little town with a pleasant square, although beware the bird... More

I also went at the begining of October and i wish i hadn't - this was the worst holiday i have ever had - the hotel staff were rude and unhelpful and i have no idea where the other people stayed when they say they had a nice time - the place was awful and the food was very poor... More

My wife and I were recently on a coach trip with Leger holidays and stayed at the Hotel Imperiale. Whilst the hotel was well positioned and the rooms clean but decor rather tired looking the staff were unfriendly and arrogant. When we went down for our evening meal they appeared disintrested and could not wait to get us out of... More

We arrived on October 4th after a 30 hour coach ride from the UK. After reading some of the reviews on Trip Advisor we were expecting the hotel from hell but we couldn't have been more wrong. Checking-in was quick, easy and hotel staff were on hand to help with cases. Our room was on the third floor at the... More

Do NOT under any circumstances stay at this hotel. During our stay in September 2011 the butter i spread on my toast was rancid, and another of our party opened her butter to find it black. Croissants for breakfast were pre-wrapped, and past their sell by date. The so called 'hot water' from the machine to make tea or coffee... More

We arrived in the middle of a Korean Protestant evangelical conference with loudspeakers just off the main reception, and they took over the dining room at mealtimes, so we received a second class service. Though even after they had left the menu was very strange, with lots of carbohydrate (chips and pasta mostly), beetroot and some salad and anaemic looking... More

It seems most hotels in Europe need money spending on them and this hotel was no exception. It was probably a 2* rather than a 3*. The hotel staff spoke very little English and my Italian isn't very good either so that lead to a few communication problems. Its ideally located in the centre of Fiuggi and we were there... More

Not long returned from coach tour where we stayed in this hotel as a base with Leger holidays. After reading the reviews on here i was very wary but found the hotel clean the staff friendly mainly and had no problems with service from the bar or the dining room. Sometimes people respond better if you try to embrace their... More
