PROS: Location wise it was great- the Mestre train station was literally 50 feet away and there were trains leaving for Venice every ten minutes. On arrival,late evening, I was dismayed to be told that my CONFIRMED booking via booking.com was not valid as I had used a Spanish Visa Electron Debit Card which was not acceptable to this hotel, and that my room had been let. A great location, only a minute or 2 from the Mestre station, makes this a good choice for someone who doesn't want to stay in Venice. We had a twin room that was typical by European standards with modern appointments, including air conditioning. The staff was pleasant and helpful. More
