Firstly very welcomed by lovely hotel staff, offered coffee and tea and food, nice room, great comfortable bed, really nice hot shower, slippers and bathrobe, very nice touch. Walk straight outside and caught either the bus or the train, to Venice and walked around and saw the amazing sights that make up Venice.

Although some way from Venice the bus service is convenient. There are reasonable restaurants in the area and fairly good shopping a short bus ride away (KLM lost our luggage and we needed clothes for the cruise). Excellent breakfast and friendly staff
