Spending a week-end in Venice with my fiancee, we choose this accomodation because of its closeness to the railway station (Mestre); well, this hotel turned out to be the most confortable and cheapest choice since it's just 40 meters from the station and moreover, it has a private car-park (without any additional cost), so you can easily reach Mestre by... Value-priced hotels usually lack some part of good location, room, amenities, service but this hotel has them all, with a consistently friendly attitude of owner and staff. Breakfast served restaurant-style on a tray includes balance of protein and carbs (yogurt, egg, cheese, croissant, jam) with great coffee. Parking and English-speaking are limited but this place is definitely our first choice... More

I really have nothing bad to say about this hotel. The owner, Luigi, and his staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was pretty good by Italian standards. They also provided us with a tray with fruit and water. We were able to park our car in the lot, and they did not charge... More

First, understand that Maestre is an industrial suburb of Venice-no glitz and glamour here. The hotal is located 100 meters from the train station, where taxi's and buses are also readily available. There are also decent restuarants nearby. The neighborhood isn't the greatest after dark, so be careful as you would in any urban environment. The Chinese owners/staff were very... More

I stayed in this hotel only for one night and I was statisfied. The room is clean and air-conditioned. The bathroom is modern. The staff is friendly. The owner is a chinese old man. He gave us some travel tipps. The hotel is very near to the train station Mestre. You can take the train to Venice. A ticket costs... More

Had a lovely stay at this hotel, so lovely that we had extended out holiday. Room was clean, functional. Bathroom was modern, and clean. Air conditioner was "iffy" thou. It seemed to be run by one family and it definately had a feel of home with beautiful art in the stairway area. The location was very handy, just make sure... More

Well to start positively the hotel has a good location near the train station of Mestre so it is very convenient to travel to Venice (train runs each 10-15 min). Other positive thing is that wireless is included in the price. Now the reality - despite the staff are very nice (owned by Chinease family), they cannot speak a word... More

Worst Hotel Ever! Looks fine but when you close the door and sleep, molding bed stinks, bathroom door moldy, black mold that made me vomit. did not sleep a wink while in the room, I asked for help, but hotel staff does not speak English, speaks minimal Italian, speaks Shanghainese (not even Mandarin)! Freak out. Hotel facade looks clean and... More

The big Venice railway station Mestre is the stopping point to disembark, walk out cross the road and the street right in front of you is the location for the Cortina. I had a room on the 1st floor, overlooking the small courtyard and street. WIFI is included in the deal, access by password. Useful. The room was a decent... More
