We just returned from a 5 night stay at Rifugio degli Dei. Davide and his mother were the perfect hosts, helping us with restaurant recommendations and advice on the local area. The other reviews have also covered the dreaded steps, but if you are going to stay here, make sure you consider them. It's a tough climb and the walk... More

We really enjoyed our visit to Rifugio degli Dei to celebrate our 35th year of marriage. It was one of the highlights of our vacation. To experience the small town Italian life at the Fusco's family dwelling was amazing. David was a sweetheart, extremely attentive and spoke great English. The spotless studio apartment had a million dollar view of the... More

imagine waking up in the morning.....open the window and see the sea and all Positano from the best panoramic point possible and after take a delicious breakfast (you must try their homemade honey) immersed in the characteristic and unique nature of the Amalfi Coast. Another important aspect is the courtesy and discretion of the owners......good advice on where to eat... More

Rifugio degli Dei is not for everyone. But it was Nirvana for us. Much has been written by others about the 250+ steps. Actually, from the street to our front door was 400 steps. But who's counting? (We were.) But consider the trade-offs for a few stairs. This place is absolutely the last house in Positano to see the sunset... More

I stayed here for approximately a week in March 2010 with my parents. The apartments were big enough for a family to stay in and we had two separate sleeping areas. Not only did you have the quintessential views of Positano since you were high on a hill and could see the cityscape, but the apartments were incredibly clean and... More

Just to make clear We did not stay at the Rifugio deglie Dei, but an apartment owned by the same owners further down the steps. I emailed them a month before our departure to confirm we would pay to have a transfer from naples as we were travelling on my partners birthday so wanted to make the trip as hassle... More

We stayed 5 nights. We found it a magical place to stay. It does have lots of steps and the walk to Positano is a bit hairy because of the traffic but despite that we would come back tomorrow to stay. Stunning views from our window and the fabulous terrace(s). Although not in Positano, it's great for walkers because it... More

My family of 8 spent 5 glorious days here this week! Yes the steps were hard work for my 69 year old parents and 71 year old Aunty, but they loved it nevertheless! At least we were able to enjoy the AMAZING food without guilt. Every tiny detail was perfect! We have stayed at many wonderful places in Italy over... More

Just back from a week relaxing here - it really is a lovely place, we stayed in the Poseidone apartment which was very spacious and well equipped kitchen (two induction hobs + pots, pans etc). Good clean bathroom with great powerful shower. Own private veranda with table/chairs - great for evening meals whislt watching sunset with wine and limoncello. As... More

This was my first trip to the Amalfi Coast and I was not disappointed. Rifugio degli Dei was wonderful. The workout to make it up the 240 steps to the B & B was challenging, but worth the effort. The rooms were excellent, the homemade breakfasts delicious, and the hosts were superb - warm, friendly and helpful. Truly paradise. More
