This hotel offers one of the best views in Italy. Our room was very large compared to most Italian hotels we have stayed in, and we had a deck with lounge chairs and an umbrella-covered table which was accessible from two different doors in the room. The bath was also quite large, and the shower was exceptional with two shower... More

Outstanding position on the wonderful Amalfi coast, this hotel has much to recommend it, especially if you pay a bit extra for a large room with its own terrace. Spotlessly clean. Courteous and helpful staff, especially in the dining room. The only inconvenience is having to travel in and out of town on their (regular) shuttle - taxis are very... More

The location and view are exceptional. We arrived in a downpour and the staff was very helpful with our bags and getting us settled in. The room was rather small, but had a king bed, a nice patio (which due to the weather, we never used) and a shower that was good, but not exceptional. The funicular was not yet... More

My sister and I shared a long awaited, lovely trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy in the fall of 2011. The Le Agavi Hotel was the main stay of our trip. After a long and exhausting flight from California, we were welcomed at the Le Agavi with a gracious welcome. The staff was excellent and the front desk and... More

The view was spectacular from the rooms and the restaurant. The bed and pillows were uncomfortably hard. There was no safe in the room and the hours for access to the front desk safe were inconvenient. The restaurant food was good but the wait staff was very surly. It’s questionable whether the total experience is worth the rates. I find... More

Dear Sirs, We would like to know exactly when in October and in what room those clients stayed at Le Agavi. Furthermore, it would be useful to know their name since we think that the review is quite questionable and the person who wrote it never stayed at Le Agavi. If we cannot get the aforesaid information, please remove the... More

Situated 1000 feet above the Mediteranean, on a shear cliff. Most wonderful view of mountains and ocean from the extra large patio. room was luxurious, food the best i had in Italy. This was part of the Tauck Rome, Capri and Amalficoast tour. More

We really loved our stay at Le Agavi. The service was superb. Our view from the room overlooked the water and town. It was breathtaking. We took the lift down to the beach every morning after a delicious breakfast and double espressos. The bartender gave us olives from their garden. The shopping was my favorite. We would definitely love to... More

A short stay in stunning Positano. Highly recommend Le Agavi hotel at the entrance to the town - perched on the cliffside overlooking the village. Delightful room - spotlessly clean. The hotel staff all extremely courteous especially the well-informed reception team - excellent English and we overheard them speaking other languages with great flair. Don't miss! More

Le Agavi is a perfect retreat, from Raphael and Gugliemero at the desk to Antonino on the evening cocktail terrace to Nello down at the beachside Restraunt . Each, in there own way, make the experience on emersion in la dolce vita complete for the traveler. This property the rooms, the private terraces, the funicular, all capitalize on the magnificent...
