Other reviewers are correct when they say this hotel is situated at the top of a hill. There are steps that cut some of the hill out however it is still quite a hike if you are elderly or unfit. I was also not comfortable wth the walk to the hotel after dark as it's not very well lit. My... More

Just got back from Principe. It's a really good place to stay for people who don't care about prestigiousness and quantity of stars. “Only for the fit and those who wish to eat out”

Situated at the top of steep slopes and with a direct entrance to the promenade/shops/beaches down several flights of steepstairs this is a hotel for the physically fit. Persons wih any walking difficulty should avoid this hotel or risk being marooned. The food is not up to much either.
