Not a bad hotel (though not really worthy of 4 stars). Mosquitos definitely a problem at end of September. Breakfast lacking quality and variety. Coffee definitely dreadful (though try a double expresso with milk and it is just about acceptable). Orange juice was foul. Never eat in the hotel, too many nice restaurants around.

No mosquito problem ,plenty about but not a serious bite.We spent £20.00 on anti mosquito electric gizmo,and lots of wipes and sting remedies .Never took them out of the suitcase. Grand Albergo has obliging staff who go out of their way to be helpful, including the very friendly lifeguard at the excellent rooftop pool, which is safe and well-constructed from smooth tiles with no rough edges (unlike some pools in Greece).
