We stayed there for the first time and will surely go back. Nice people, wonderful landscape and relaxing rooms in a remarkable building. Must go and visit Todi, Orvieto, Spoleto, Assisi, Montefalco...

Casale dei Frontini is in the perfect place with 360 views of the rolling hills of Umbria. The hospitality is fabulous. With my limited Italian, and lots of facial expressions and hand gestures, I was able to converse with Corrado and Silvana, the husband and wife (who don't speak English) and parents to Michele and Gabriele who also work there.... We stayed 5 days at the house and would have stayed there forever if we could. The house is beautifully situated on a hillside in Umbria. Very friendly hosts. Definitely go for the full-board option. The food is delicious!

Our week stay at Agriturismo Casale dei Frontini was a delightull experience. Located at the Umbrian countryside, the house is surrounded by vineyards, sunflower fields and some forest. The views are amazingly beautiful, certainly when looking at the hilltop on which lies the medieval town of Todi, only 10 km away. The rooms are sober but very clean and adequate... More

The excellent scenery from pool side was very impressive for us. The dinners were natural and very very good. Especially the beef from their own farm was outstanding. We have an unmanagable daughter but they were really kind for my daughter and us. This hotel were managed by family and they all are very kind and we were refreshed so... More

When we left Casale dei Frontini three years ago we knew for sure that we would return to this lovely place in Umbria. This time we were there for a week in july. The welcome was very warm and friendly again. And Sylvana's cooking is simply the best in Umbria! We enjoyed it again every evening. After visiting the beautiful... More

This time we returned with our two adult daughters and the welcome was just as warm and friendly as two years ago. The peaceful location is hard to beat and returning early each afternoon to escape the heat we sat on the shady veranda with cold drinks, that Michele generously insisted we enjoy, gazing at the surrounding countryside with Todi... Highly recommendable! The hosts make you feel home immediately and their hospitality is amazing! Very romantic spot in Umbria next to sunflower fields and olive trees. The dinner is out of this world, handmade and as organic as it gets. Thanks so much for everything!

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Our guests tell us that they feel as if they have walked into a fairy tale, a magical place where time stops and the medieval world and the twenty-first century unite in quiet and harmony. This is true. It is peaceful here except for the sounds of ducks and cows and hens. The rabbits, the horse, and barn cats disturb no one, and our big-hearted little dogs ‘Tequila’ and ‘Small’ seldom bark, although they will welcome you with gratitude. Our family, my wife and three sons, renovated these lovely buildings with the same taste and devotion with which they were originally built three hundred years ago. ... more   less
