We didn't stay at the Strathy Inn, but had an excellent meal when we turned up unannounced during our holiday. We were given a warm welcome by the landlord, and really enjoyed the venison casserole and lamb and apricot tagine - good food, well-cooked. More

Wonderful place to base yourself to explore the northern coast of Scotland. Food was good home style meals, soup and porridge, amazing. Heather and Craig were very hospitable. Both went to a lot of trouble to recover my husband' s wedding ring, lost down the basin. Eventhough the weather was challenging even for Scotland, there was always a warm welcome... More

The Strathy Inn was a wonderful surprise on our trip on the northern coast. Rooms are lovely and very spacious, also the bathroom. The bar offers great choice of beer and whisky as well as home cooked food. Craig and Heather maintain the place with love for detail. We felt very welcome. The best B&B on our trip on the... More

My friend and I have stayed here twice and enjoyed the hospitality that goes with it, we were treated as part of the family, there is a personal touch to this place. Comfortable room, with all the usual things you would expect, lovely meals and a big breakfast to set you up for the day. Close by there is Strathy... More

This B&B was perfect to what I wanted, staying for 1 night in September in the Single room. Very reasonable price, good breakfast. Certainly will be staying again next time I'm up that way. More

The service in the Strathy Inn was second to none, i was not looking forward to travelling here alone in august but Heather and Craig really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I stayed in their single room, which was very clean and comfortable, and despite not having an en suite i had sole use of... More

I was cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats in August/September and planned to stop here on the penultimate day. The weather turned and gale force winds and rain hit the north of Scotland. I got absolutely soaked and couldn't stand up in the wind let alone cycle. I called the Strathy Inn and the owners very kindly came out... More

After ferrying to the mainland and continuing our journey west to the Hebredes, we suddenly decided we didn't want to drive as far as we planned. The Strathy Inn suddenly appeared on the left and my husband abruptly turned in. Luckily, we were able to obtain the last available room, and were delighted by the homeyness of the whole experience.... More

We had a week at the Strathy Inn, staying in their self-catering caravan behind the Inn. A lovely week, Craig and Heather were very accommodating and let us stay in the caravan with two dogs (pets were allowed in a section of the public bar as well). A comfortable and private space which was ideal, and lovely food at the... More
