I really loved Villa des Consuls. The hole place is beautiful and right in the center of historic Sarlat. My room, Colbert, was bright, spacious, clean and comfortable. I appreciated the free laundry for the guess. I was also able to rent a bike right at the office to make a day trip to Beynac. Breakfast in the morning was... More

Our family of 5 stayed in the Richeliu apartment for 1 night and the Medicis apartment for 2 nights. Both were great. The views from the apartment balcony to the main street were unbeatable. David was an excellent host. The drop off of bags and parking in the offsite garage went very smoothly. We highly recommend staying here. The access... More

We stayed in the Richelieu unit and my two adult children in the Montesqieu for 4 nights. The hotel/units is very well situated in the centre of the old town. Our unit was very comfortable with small kitchenette, table with 4 chairs, 3 seater lounge and TV, comfortable queen bed and roomy bathroom with separate toilet. Great shower. Our children... More

We stayed at La Villa des Consuls in September as a small group: two other couples and a single traveling together. We rented two rooms and both were spacious, with high ceilings, lovely bathrooms and furnishings. Everything was extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. One unit overlooked the garden and had a large balcony. One evening, we all met... More

We stayed in the Montaigne apartment in Sarlat for 5 days in October 2011. It was a perfect position overlooking the main street in the old quarter and the apartment was lovely. After travelling all over Europe and staying in places that didn't have any outdoor area we really appreciated the large outdoor terrace that the apartment had. We could... More

The location could not be better. We were travelling in family (6) and got an apartment with a huge balcony to the main street. We had a small kitchen and a patio with a table for meals. Everything was very neat. It's one of those places that you feel very lucky to have found and to have made reservations for.... More

No surprise that this rates so highly on Tripadvisor. Clean, comfortable and spacious and in a wonderful location. We found the owner / manager to be helpful and polite at all times. Of course you can't park here but it is a medieval city so if you want to stay in the heart then it goes without saying your car... More

This was the highlight of our month-long trip through France. I can't speak highly enough of Sarlat and La Villa des Consuls. Yes, parking can be a pain. Yes, this isn't a traditional hotel with all of the hotel amenties but there is so much more here! Our room was beautiful, large and clean. It had a kitchen area which... More

We stayed in the Montaigne apartement which had the most amazing large terrace looking over the mostly pedestrian street right in the heart of Sarlat. The only bummer is trying to find the place while driving and trying to find parking. If you're there in the busy season you'll never find parking. The apartment was walking distance to the market...
