The Mercure in Mont-St-Michel is ok, but considering what we paid to stay for a night, I was expecting more. The location is good and the rooms are ok but not the usual standard of a Mercure hotel.

The Mercure was an average "Holiday Inn" type hotel with a friendly staff and convenient location. The bathroom was clean and spacious enough. The carpet wasn't in the greatest of shape but after walking over to the Mont St Michel and seeing how muddy out shoes got, I understand why. The carpets must take a beating.
The location of the...

We stayed here 1 night during our visit to the Mont. We didn't book in advance but still got a room which is nice. Not cheap. The room was nice, but smelled like desinfectant very strongly. But opening the window helped. We had a great visit to the Mont and walked back. Tired and relaxed we wanted to watch some...

Only spent one night there (as planned) so we could see Mont St. Michel . . . a nice 20-30 minute walk away. Hotel is average by U.S. standards. Room is clean and basic; a little tired. Hotel style is basic modern, no frills. Free parking. Nice-looking dining room, but average tasting food. The usual average to high euro prices....

Highly recommended to stay one night for your visit to Mont St Michel. We arrived at night to snap some night shots of Mont St Michel. Then started the day early so you can park at the entrance at no cost, before 8am. Getting there early will also provide you with the opportunity to take photos without any tourists in...

I want to stay one night in Le Mont Saint Michel just to catch the night view of the beautiful mountain. Comparing the price, the hotel inside the mountain wall is so expensive. So I pick up this Mercure on the causeway.
Actually, this hotel is still a little bit far from the mountain. You need to walk at leat...

I came to this hotel where the receptionist just stared at us for 10 mins before talking to us. The food was awful and so were the rooms. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone. Although, the location was great.
