“Tour de France heaven”

Had no reservation and arrived here at 9pm on a Saturday night. Very nice guy on reception booked me in and I thought it was very reasonable, (€ 100 with a very nice breakfast) I think this hotel has been refurbished judging by some of the other reviews. massive room with loads of windows on a street view. Excellent location, pleasant staff, but only 1 star accommodation. The hotel is surprisingly easy to find and an easy walk to the shops, restaurants and railway station; you can even park right outside. The lady in reception was helpful and friendly. The room though was a big disappointment: it was extremly shabby with peeling wallpaper, a stained, worn carpet and... More
