Independent ski holidays are never easy. Ok, so you've got the cheap flight, but then you need to look into the transfers and then there's the hotel. I was told I'd find it next to impossoble to get a transfer from Grenoble Airport to the ski resort of Alpe D'Huez. As for booking a hotel; I got even more ridiculous... More
