Clean accommodation near the Airport, perfect for short visits to refresh yourself. The city center is also available in 30-40 mins by the good public transportation. Easy to find it by anyone. The owner do not speak too much English, but very helpful.

This is a simple place if you need to stay in Barcelona for one night for flight schedule reasons and just want a bed to sleep. No breakfast (yet bars and supermarket are nearby). I payed 25 Euro for the taxi (one way), 25 Euro for a cell-like room, and Carlos borrowed me an alarm clock and arranged for taxi pick-up the next day. Free wifi (CARLOS123). Wash basin in the room, but shared toilets.

We booked this accommodation for one night, since its close to BCN airport and we had arrival around midnight. At the booking, we choose arrival time between 0:00-1:00. Just to double check, I called them before our flight to BCN and the guy told me, that check in at that hour is not possible and we don't have this room any more. When i tried to explain him (while boarding on plane) that we stated our arrival time when we made a reservation (and guaranteed it with credit card) and that we will land in 2h and don't have alternative, he suddenly "forgot" to speak English and was repeating, I don't understand you, I don't speak English (when at the beginning he spoke perfect english!) and then he hang up. The accommodation provider who is offering their service worldwide in the developed city as Barcelona, should be trustworthy and should care for its guests after billing them with high cost of their service and I guess this is not Pension Carlos III policy. Beware if staying there or better, don't stay there if you don't need to. Barcelona has a lot of other accommodations, where host actually cares for its guests.

If you don't mind a shared bathroom this place is ideal for airport transit on a budget. Convenient, clean, friendly. Be warned, minimum taxi fare from airport is €20 even tho it's not far so worth informing yourself of bus route (which I hadn't). Staff went out of their way to accommodate my awkward arrival time (thank you Eugeni). I'll be back!

This was my 4th time at Carlos III and the service was always good but this time it was simply outstanding. I was given the chance to change my previouly booked room for another with a king-sized bed for just 3 Euro !! Then the owner gently kept my luggage for a whole day ( like many other hotels ) free of charge plus I was offered to have a shower for free before heading for the airport ! Small details make big differences and certainly these were some of them. I will be back !

For the price of a shared dorm bed at not-so-central hostel in Barcelona, you can get a private room, with shared facilities, in a clean, quiet, no frills place at Barcelona surroundings (El Prat de Llobregat) that is only 10 to 15 minutes far from the airport by public bus (PR1 line), which means it is very convenient if your flight arrives or departs at odd hours. It is a place that aims mainly at airport workers or nearby companies employees, but also welcome tourists. The owner, Mr. Eugeni Tercero, can provide basic information about public transportation to Barcelona (train, bus - 30 minutes), places to eat, supermarket, internet and cheap phone calls ("locutorio"). Rooms are simple, but clean, with nice mattresses and pillows. Showers have a fare flow of hot water. There is no communal kitchen. Free wireless connection included in the price.
