We stayed at this hotel during this weekend and we didn’t like it. It is not a 4 star hotel (maybe 20 years ago). Expensive, decorated with hunting trophies, old, ordinary room smelling like cigarette, really small shower, uncomfortable bed, problems with the heating (it made a disturbing noise all night long so we woke up several times because of... Right next to the Bodensee and just next to the trainstation. but if you're by car: no problem as there is a parking for 8 euro a day or park in the garage for 12 euro a day. (dont know prices for longer stays) Wifi available but costa 3 euro for an hour, 6 euro for a day going to... More

This hotel has one of the best restaurants in Friedrichshafen. The servcie is excellent, the waiters friendly and helpful, and the food exccellent. I can recommend the venison or the wild boar. if you go to Friedrichshafen do not pass up this restaurant. I did not stay at this hotel but will on my next visit. More

This hotel had the most uncomfortable beds, and smallest shower room if ever expireced. Add to that, no room air-conditioning, so, had to try and sleep with the window open. The hotel is on the take off path of the airport, so every morning the first take off at 6:30 woke us up, but it didn't matter all that much,... More

We got a lovely corner room overlooking the Bodensee. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. Our corner windows had geraniums in window boxes, and opened to provide a nice breeze. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The lobby and bar have lots of mounted animal heads on the walls. Breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was varied and plentiful.... More

One of the worst hotels I have ever lived in from a service standpoint - terrible !! I would strongly advice fellow travellers to stay elsewhere or move to Lindau or nearby towns if all other hotels are booked. When I checked in, I was given a very small room with the excuse that I was a single traveller -... More

I was very impressed with the staff, extremely professional, polite and helpful. My emails before arrival were replied to within a few minutes and also my requests at reception (e.g. iron and iron board) have been accomodated immediately. The waiters at the hotel restaurant are incredibly aware and so friendly. Food is also very nice, good selection at breakfast, traditional... More

Hotel has spots in front to park and unload. Used one of the hotels individual private garages down the street. Great spacious room, clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast with the best bacon, and champagne. Nice location near Bahnhof and across the street from lakeside attractions. Excellent stay in Friedrichshafen. More

The hotel has a good location, opposite the lakeside gardens, and a short walk from the town centre. Our room was enormous and very comfortable. We had friends staying in another room that was even bigger. The public areas are very old fashioned in a characterful way, entirely acceptable, rather than being neglected. There are hunting trophies in the reception,... More
