Stayed a weekend in Munich, and didn't care about location, just for good price and flexibility. The hotel is ideal for such things, if you don't mind the 10 minutes walk to the train station, and the 20 minutes train ride to city center. Nice small room (sparkled from cleanliness), however, no shampoo or soap for bath, so bring yours... More

Staying at the Fresh Inn is apparently a good bargain but we found it much unconfortable. There was a wide smell of smoke (cigarette) everywhere, there is no elevator and there was no light in the corridor (unserviceable maybe) outside the room. Just returned from staying 6 days here and can recommend it - although it might not be to everyone's taste. If you are after luxury in the centre of Munich or somewhere hopping with action, this will probably disappoint.
