Historic hotel in one of the most beautiful areas of Germany. Very close to Berchtesgaden and the Eagles Nest. They offer a nice small breakfast. Good restaurants nearby. I have stayed here several times and will continue to do so. More

Room is fine if you're staying for just one night. The room itself is roomy enough for a couple. Our room had a small balcony we sat on at night and drank a few cold ones. The Hotel Schiffmeister overlooks the boat stage and looks straight down the lake. From 9:00 to about 18:00 it is quite busy outside but, then, the day trippers go home and peace reigns.
