I booked this hotel for the night before my flight out of Zurich. It was a beautiful place, clean, friendly and very comfortable. The rooms are the perfect size and well organized. Their free shuttle to the airport is wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Though the Welcome Inn is outside of Zürich centre, it is still close to downtown.
Trains depart every half hour from the station five minuttes walk away, and the trip to central Zürich takes approx. 22 minuttes, no big deal.
The hotel runs a shuttle service to and from the airport (10 mins.), which is really convinient.

Cosy reception with signed cards from famous skiers. Very corteous pleasant employees. Quiet rooms. Good low price. Comfortable and very clean rooms. Everything works: free internet, TV hairdrier etc. Good minibar with everything from water, chocolate, juice, chips, nuts and alcohol if you want that.
You can get a free pass from the reception to Kloten public swimming pool.

Service is extremely polite, helpfull and friendly. My room was average size, and quite comfortable, except for the temperature. The room was kind of stuffy, and it was to windy and noisy to keep the window open. However the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom clean.

Please let me explain that in Switzerland since two years also exists a non-smoker protection. But with a strict observance of several guidelines it is possible to run for example a smoking bar so this is a special case but the restaurants are naturally smoke-free.

We used their hotel shuttle to the hotel and then the very easy train directions to spend the day in Zurich to return to shower and then shuttle back to the airport. Nothing fancy but convenient and clean. Very friendly staff at the reception and in the restaurant. 7 minutes to the airport with shuttle buses running every 30 min or so from as early as 5 a.m. Small but clean bathroom and nice crispy bedsheets. Recommended for everyone who needs a short layover.
