There is much better ideation around than this the outside looks nice but the inside is old dated and worn, when I booked I asked for the best rooms available to accommodate 6 ladies at the time the hotel was pretty empty so I basically had the best choice, if the premier is the best then I would hate to... After reading the reports on Tamar Valley before we left I was a bit nervous! Well how surprised was I. This resort met all our expectations. We were in a 2 storey 2 bedroom chalet which was really clean and spacious. The restaurant and all the activities were fantastic. I think as long as you don't expect a 5 star... More

We stayed for one night here and wish we had stayed longer. We were a 9 yo boy and 3 adults. Our son loved the giant pillow, the tennis and the crazy golf and the food was reasonable in the restaurant, especially the breakfast. Although a little dated, the accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable. I would recommend a few... More

Just returned from an overnight stay and had a great time. Our chalet (alpine) was very spacious, clean and quiet but certainly not worth the full rate(Just under $400). It was fun browsing through the small village where we enjoyed a lovely brewed coffee at the bakery, yummy fudge at the chocolate shop and a browse in the newsagent/gift shop.... More

Stayed at the resort for one night with a group, our soul intention was to go out for a meal together, something we do two or three times a year. We stayed in the hotel rooms which were just $89 for the night. They are spacious, comfortable and have everything you may need including iron, ironing board, hair dryer etc. I... More

We rang basically 2 days b4 arrival & got a price of $249 per night. 3 adults & 2 kids. Great surroundings includes a lake, 9 hole golf course, tennis courts, kayaks, indoor pool... More

Tamar Valley Resort provides a consistent standard of accommodation in a relaxing setting. I use it for business trips frequently and have returned with my family for short holiday breaks. Staff are friendly and helpfu and the food is high standard.

This is our second time staying at this resort after the first time 2 years ago. We booked through the internet site which have quite a fair deal for a simple double room. It's basic, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is small but it's clean and the shower is good. The room itself has ample space for 2 adults and... More

Booked a cheap room via wotif.com, which might explain why I was placed in a small and very dark room in the Chalet section. Although the website advertized free internet throughout the resort, there was none in my room, and it's apparently ALWAYS that way, per the manager I called to report the problem. She instructed me to walk down... More
