The rooms are small and basic but comfortable. The food was excellent (extensive menu but take requests) and the staff really helpful and friendly. A beautiful location. We stayed as part of a group for a function and could not fault the hotel.

A group of friends do a hill walking holiday every year and stay here, its perfectly placed for lots of walks in the hills including the challanging coledale horseshoe.
