I shouldn't be telling people lol to stay here because It'll probably be full when I want to book my next trip, lol :) Seriously, a great hotel, the staff at front desk are great too, fantastic location for Bond Uni, for Robina shopping town, for Nerang, I totally recommend this place.

My wife and I have stayed here twice now and we will be returning for another visit in the not too distant future! We recently enjoyed a one bedroom apartment for 4 nights. Great rates, great facilities and lovely service, staff are always friendly and helpful. The pool and gym is like a mini retreat and we spent our afternoons with a couple of drinks watching the sun set. Sunrises are a must too! Thank you once again, we look forward to visiting again soon! ☺️

My family and i stayed in Gold Coast for a week and we enjoyed our stay in this service apartment. Rooms are spacious and comfy, customer services are excellent . It’s very quiet during night time and reception staff are always extremely helpful during our entire stay. Would recommend to anyone.

I booked accommodation for work when I came down to the Gold Coast and I am stoked with the service provided by the Chancellor Team. The girls at reception were lovely and very helpful upon my arrival. My room was tidy and had all the necessary equipment and utilities. I will definitely be booking there again when I’m needed on the Gold Coast for work or even as a holiday!

After finding myself at a short end, I booked online for what I thought would be an upmarket apartment for two nights. This is where our story begins. After arriving at 5.30pm I was told that my original room was not ready and I was being given a room with elevator access. I was then told that there may be housekeeping coming in to take care of minor jobs during my stay. When I asked how much work was to be done, I was told it was just to wipe the windows which had some marks on them. I explained this was not required and I could handle some dirty windows. If only this was the only discomfort to handle. The room has chipped paint around light fixtures and internet portals are falling off the wall. The fan fixture in the bedroom had no knob meaning it was Russian roulette as to whether you were going to be sweating from a slow setting or blown out the room like a cyclone had just formed. Sitting on the couch was about as entertaining as going to movieworld. The cushions on both couches all had broken springs, which when sat on, at the wrong angle, would have you feeling like you just rode Lethal Weapon. The couches, lampshades and blinds all need replacing as a deep clean won’t remove the perpetual stains. The shower is that built up with calcium, is that there are 4 streams of water, which covers the roof, the floor, the wall and the bathtub, unfortunately not one stream hits the body. I believe the room had just been returned from a long term rental and as a result it had not been properly inspected before being used again. But for the cost of the room for the weekend, I would have expected the room to be presented a little better. The staff at reception were friendly enough. However housekeeping and management both need to take some responsibility for the rooms they are letting the public into.

I visited from Hong Kong and stayed with Chancellor because it is nice and close to Bond University. I loved the quiet area of Varsity Lakes. I was pleasantly surprised for the lovely room I checked into.   Management had obviously put in a lot of effort to make their guests’ stays enjoyable. The check-in process is quick and easy, front desk staffs are the nicest I have ever come across, the room was clean and spacious, and the view is lovely.    I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely return when I have the chance to do so. I would not have any concern recommending the hotel to anyone.

I stayed with a week with my partner, and although we were excited and optimistic at the beginning of the week, our experiences got worse each night we slept there. The bed was a disappointment. Advertisized and bedded like a queen size or larger matress, this bed was made up of two twin sized beds they had pushed together on wheels. Inevitably, by the third night, either my partner or I had fallen in between the crack in the two beds making it impossible to get comfortable or even remain on one of the two mattresses. The wheels made it impossible to keep the two beds connected, so we were forced to lay on just one small twin sized mattress. The white fleece blanket provided to our room had various long and short hairs on it that did not belong to us that I noticed as soon as I pulled it out of the closet. The bathroom was also very disappointing. The shower did not have a curtain or cover that reached around the entire area, so water went all over the floor, and the towel rack was ripped out of the wall, so I couldn't hold on to it to help myself get up into the tub. This made me slip and hit my knee from the water on the floor and nothing to hold on to in the shower area. It is a hazardous tub and I DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE WHO MIGHT HAVE KNEE PROBLEMS. Our toilet buttons were stuck smashed inward, so the toilet was constantly flushing, and the sink would spray horizontally from the faucet. We did not spend much time in our hotel, but the time we did spend was very uncomfortable and actually caused my partner and me to get upset throughout the night at our discomfort and left me with a large bruise on my knee. I nice bed, shower and toilet was all we needed for our stay, but we did not receive this. Additionally, the front desk staff is not pleasant and they are hardly ever available. On top of this, the pool was filled with leaves and looked like it had not been cleaned for weeks, and we were rudely woken up by a fire alarm at 6 AM where we needed to evacuate, but we received no explanation or apology to make up for the inconvenience. If you are looking for a place to stay where there is comfort or professionalism, do not stay here!

We stayed here for a week for Christmas 2018. Appartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Included a mini kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge with balcony that looked on to a lovely pool which was cleaned regularly. Very reasonably priced and it was fairly quiet as there were no conferences going on. We chose here as it was a short walk away from our daughter who was living in Robina . The entrance featured a tall Christmas tree. Helpful staff on reception.
