Upon arrival, Kate welcomed us with an extremely warm welcome, the enormous fire was ablaze with offers of drinks for all. Kate was extremely welcoming. Excellent breakfast - particularly enjoyed the fresh eggs! The lounge has a huge open fire, the perfect accompaniment to a relaxing glass or two at the end of the day. The room was basic but clean and the location perfect for River Cottage, which was the reason for our visit. Would definitely stay again. More

Lovely comfortable accommodation in excellent location. Three children (10, 8 & 6) disappeared into the secret cubbyhole where all the toys are kept and we relaxed in front of the fire with a cup of tea.
