“Airport sleep in a neiggborhood”

Although close to airport, make sure to prearrange free shuttle to avoid expensive transport(cancels out savings). Apparently shuttle isn't available every day, frustratingly. Good: walk to Thai Secreymt Garden restaurant for really good food in a unique atmosphere. Not so good: housekeeping, shuttle as above, staff weren't helpful. Wouldn't stay here again More

We were part of a group staying here, and the host couldn't have been more accommodating. Ron, Muriel and their staff were always there to give recommendations of places to eat, and places to go. “Ok for a night but no more”

Good hosts but the soundproofing is almost non-existent. I could hear every word said in the room next door as well as slamming drawers television and arguments. I had the misfortune to be there for an extended period and it was just awful. Terrible area. I guess it depends on your expectations but 4 stars it is not. More

“Convienient for airport”

We were impressed with the ease of staying here for an airport stay, might not seem close but the free pick up makes it great, also really close to a number of eating places. Very clean and tidy so would certainly recommend, we were travelling as 5 and fitted into one room together easy. More

“Easy to recommend”

For us, the 540 motel is well located: on the southern side of Auckland about halfway between the airport and the city - 15 mins from each both by car. We do have a couple of rooms that may be smaller than average, whereby the room allocation can sometimes be restricted due to house occupancy. On average our rooms are larger than other sites. More
