Went on a little jaunt with my Father and Brother to do some Kayaking and Cycling and ended up booking last minute (a month in advance by mistake!). This hotel does not have much kerbside appeal, however when you go through to the back there is a very pleasant garden and swimming pool where you can sit. Breakfast is served overlooking the pool. Arrived to find the hotel looking & smelling very tired and rundown with workmen, with ladders and wiring lying all over the hallways and stairs. Went up to view the room we had reserved but couldn't get over what we had seen on the way up so decided not to stay. More

Had three nights in this delightful homely hotel. Fabienne was a fabulous host and couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was comfortable.Rooms were roomy and spotlessly clean and breakfast was more than sufficient to start your day. More

We stayed with our ten year old and sixteen year old daughters. Friends of ours also stayed in the hotel which is a lovely old stone building. Stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the time. Fabienne is absolutely charming- very helpful and welcoming. Have recommended hotel to various friends and would definitelyreturn if I visited that area again. More
