We knew nothing about the hotel and picked it randomly. What an absolute pleasant surprise! Our room no 9 was so spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was outstanding and we would recommend this hotel to all our friends. With thanks Dr. W. M. Liebenberg

My husband and I spent the first night of our honeymoon at The Wesley and the staff really went the extra mile to make our stay very special. We got an upgrade and a romantic turndown, the room was spacious and very nice, their gardens are very relaxing (very quiet despite the busy street!) and the staff very helpful. Overall,... More

Even though there were other people staying at the hotel when I stayed there, I never saw another guest. It was extremely quiet and peaceful and the room was really nice and very quiet. Well Worth it.

I stayed at the wesley hotel for only two nights and absolutely enjoyed the property. The standard room has either a bath or a shower so request if you have a preference. The bed is so comfortable! I had to get up extremely early both mornings, but wish I could have slept in more. The service was wonderful and quite... More

Loved my stay at The Wesely. The room was very modern, comfortable and well designed. The staff were also very Friendly and accommodating. Would definitely reccomend this place to stay if you are visiting Johannesburg, close to Sandton so the location is perfect. 5 stars in my books. No complaints. Good value for money.

I was part of a group booking and apparently there had been some issue with 'rooms having been given away' at check in although this was subsequently sorted. I was impressed with my room although having the bath itself in the bedroom was a little unusual. Peaceful setting and I really enjoyed the dawn chorus from the birds. Owner Tony... More

I arrived at the Wesley last Wednesday the 6th of February for a 2 night stay. On arrival, I am met by two ladies standing shouting at each other in the driveway. I then check in; go to the room as I had an important conference call to attend to. Afterwards, use the loo, to find the water to the... More

I fell in love with The Wesley the first time I came across it online. It's location is a safe area and the hotel itself is secure and safe with electric gate and security guards. All the staff with no exception are very friendly and made us felt like home. Our room was more than what we were expecting. Large... More

Owner Tina upgraded us to the executive room - very spacious with a massive bed and open bathroom. The shower and toilet are not visible from the rest of the room, it's just the bath in the middle of the room - great for watching my baby daughter. Loved the fact there is an honesty bar. Had great fun in... More

Exclusivity and privacy is the key to the service offering and each room is designed with this in mind. The entire area is covered by Cameras, electric fencing and electric beams with 24 hour guards and is truly a secure environment where you can feel at home without any worries. With a backup generator in case of power failure. The rooms vary in size from 45 to 100 square metres boasting antiques in all the rooms dating between 100 and 250 years old. The majority of the decor has been specifically imported and guests can experience treats such as slumbering on an 18th Century bed. Without giving away all the treasures to be found in the common areas, you will definitely notice the 250 year old feature door when exploring the property.
