A very good guest house with excellent bedrooms and shower facilities. The breakfasts are superb and the evening meals are not to be missed. The hosts ensure a very friendly welcome. The guest house itself is decorated with very good taste and everything added together to produce an excellent stay which we hope to renew in the future.

A lovely guest house in a really peaceful and tranquil location. I was able to get a really good nights sleep. Every comfort is taken care of and the hosts friendly and welcoming. I had the dinner, which was lovely. Hope to stay again next time i'm in the area.

We were collected at the bridge by Stuart who warmly welcomed us and drove us to to the guest house. He showed us to our room which was comfortable. After our first day's walk on the Offa's Dyke Path it was good to get a hot shower. Martien cooked a really good dinner: very tasty and nicely presented - the... More

Except for the unusually cold weather and time constraints enroute to our other destinations, we could have spent more days & enjoy our stay even more, joining the walks an not forgetting the warm and great hospitality that Stuart & Martein have offered. The accommodation overall is so homely ...the rooms are so cosy and the breakfast room is just... More

Having stayed at the Fairfield for one night we can definitely say we will be returning. The welcome we received was excellent and the rooms matched that welcome. Although we didnt eat our evening meal there due to prior arrangements we would definitely suggest anyone does after the great breakfast that was served. Both Stewart and Martein made our weekend... We had a wonderful stay here over the weekend, Stuart and Martien were perfect hosts and gave us a very warm welcome. The breakfasts are really tasty, with a flood selection. We also stayed for dinner on Saturday night, Martian is an accomplished chef. The surrounding area is beautiful, we did the 14 mile Trellech which is well worth the... More

Would recommend it here, Ken & Bruce were excellent hosts and the cooked breakfast was amazing !! we were greeted on arrival ,shown around then left to it , it was like having our own place in the countryside. We ate locally on both nights and spent Saturday on part... More

Fairfield is highly recommended for a whole host of reasons. The location is superb with wonderful views of the Wye Valley and Llandogo is ideally placed for sightseeing in the local area. Fairfiled itself is of the highest standard, the rooms & food are top quality with all the finishing touches you'd expect of a five star establishment. The hosts... More

We were only there the one night but our room was comfortable, clean and well furnished. The whole place exuded an air of quality and we felt very relaxed. Ken and Bruce were excellent hosts with plenty of useful local knowledge as well as conjuring up a great breakfast in the conservatory with views across the wye valley as the... More

Two days at Fairfield guest house in early September. Very nice place, very friendly, spotless.rooms are very compact.breakfast very good, would have liked to have had chance of the evening meal, unfortunately was not avaliable, some nice places to eat locally, but local taxis quite expensive. Would recommend this place and would stay again.
