First, enough can't be said about the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff. Old Bridge is no travel channel Hotel Impossible. There is incredible management going beyond the scenes to receive excellent service at all times, without fail, during a 7 night stay. This goes for the restaurant staff as well as the general hotel staff. Basically, whatever you want... More

The Old Bridge is my perfect sort of Hotel. It has charm, a certain mystery and above all impeccably friendly service. The rooms are comfortable and this one of the very few hotels where i do not have to bring my own pillow - a real compliment. The room has a comfortable decent size bed, pillows and cushions. There is... More

My wife and I were married earlier this year at The Old Bridge and can honestly say that it was the perfect day. We held the entire event at the hotel and our trust was more than rewarded by an event which ran like clockwork with the excellent and professional team taking care of the bigger picture but more importantly... Stayed Sunday night last week for our first night away from the kids in a year and a half. It needed to be good, and, my, it was. Friends recommended The Old Bridge and we couldn't have had a better time. Room was gorgeous (6) with super comfy bed and pillows, massive bathroom (don't know why the shower was therefore... More

Thank you Vooders for your glowing report, we are all very flattered. Huntingdon may not be the most famous tourist destination for Londoners escaping the city for a night, but we are only an hour from King's Cross and would love to see more of you! Thanks once again John Hoskins More

Used to live in Huntingdon and had quite a few lunches and dinners at the Old Bridge. Since moving away we have stayed here on several occasions, meeting friends or just as a journey breaker. The rooms are all of a high standard, the staff friendly and attentive and the food has always been very good. Molton Brown toiletries, what's... More

We decided to stay in this hotel as the wedding reception we were attending was being held here. A beautifully decorated hotel, cosy, warm and welcoming inside with well maintained and thought of, outside spaces too. Staff were attentive, helpful and very friendly. The food at the reception was beautiful and we now wish we'd taken advantage of the two... More

Why stay in Cambridge and pay at least 50% more for a room and a small fortune just to park for the night, when you can stay at the delightful Bridge a few miles up the road at Huntingdon? Beautiful Ivy clad hotel, tastefully decorated and with impeccable service. A wine shop is situated just off reception, so it's like... More

We stopped here for lunch to break up a long journey, remembering it from a visit about ten years ago. What a great decision! We had a fabulous time, the hotel has extremely high standards in all areas but without a trace of stuffiness - a very relaxing atmosphere. The menu for light meals and snacks is excellent, we had... Have eaten here many times and stayed a few times too. Food is always reliable (I bring customers here without hesitation), fabulous selection of wines by the glass (check out the shop too with the clever tasting dispenser system) and very comfortable rooms (great bedding!). Oh, and breakfast is wonderful! More

Thanks so much for your ongoing support John B. It's great when guests take a view over several visits rather than jumping to conclusions within 5 minutes of arrival. And it's true that our single rooms are indeed pretty small! Before booking do look on the website for photos and a detailed description of each. Thanks again John Hoskins, Proprietor... More
