This travelodge is on a busy roundabout, but we had a room at the back and so heard no adverse traffic noise. The room was what we expected, could have done with a bit of paintwork here and there but it was clean and warm and the bed was comfortable. The bath was a little on the small size but... More

We arrived at the hotel at 2pm on 13/04/12 to be told we were an hour early for check-in and would have to pay £10 if we wished to check in before 3pm, I asked the lady on reception if there was no way to get around paying this as we had limited funds for the weekend. She replied in... More

Travelodge shares a site with a Burger King and a Little Chef (unfortunately no pub) 1 mile from Skipton town centre on a busy roundabout. This t/lodge is only small, has no lift but is neat and tidy and car parking is free. It takes 25mins to walk into Skipton (we never saw a bus while walking either way to... More

Handily placed about a mile from the centre of Skipton. Basic but functional rooms with friendly staff. The rooms could do with a lick of paint, but for what our family of four paid. £10.00 per night how could we complain! More

I have reviewed this based upon the type of stay and hotel expected from a cheap Travelodge as I can hardly compare it to 5 star hotels. I booked it with one of their deals so only paid an excellent £25 a night per room. This is one of the better Travelodges I have stayed in. Whilst the room was... More

Standard travelodge-but great value if you can book at a sale price. The staff were friendly, the room clean and entirely adequate. Had a ground floor room and confirm previous reviews that water pressure was not the greatest, but there was water and it was hot. Breakfast options in Skipton centre offer more variety, value and quality than the associated... More

Booked this hotel for two nights in early January 2012 as a weekend away. Hotel is situated about 2 miles out of skipton close to nearby exit roads to get around the dales. Previous reviews have said it is very noisy on a roundabout however we didnt find this to be too much of an issue, as we were at... More

We've used Travelodges for short breaks for years and always found they offer value for money. We rarely pay full price and I suppose we're about due a 'get what you pay for' stay. The room had an odd aroma of carpet cleaner, dog hairs on the duvet, a sticky bathroom floor and very mouldy windows. We were able to... More

I agree with the previous negative reviews - this is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Booked 3 nights in a family room over New Year. The beds were not made up on arrival and when we raised it as an issue, the receptionist told us ALL rooms were family rooms, therefore they didnt make up any beds... More
