our room was up 5 flights of narrow stairs overlooking the road junction and tesco's car park to the hills beyond, except the window was so dirty it looked permanently misty. the room itself was OK. the hostess was friendly and the breakfast OK. parking is extremely limited. we would not stay again and felt it poor value. We stayed at this b+b friday 11th may till sunday 13th may. We received a very warm welcome from the owner who showed us to our room. It was lovly and warm and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts we received were spot on. I would recommend this place to anyone. More

Many thanks to Debbie and her husband for looking after us during the May Day weekend. Situated just a few mins walk into Skipton market place and town centre and a couple of mins to the canal tow path. The rooms were ok, comfortable and warm with a tv, welcome tray etc. They did a lovely full english breakfast. Options... More

First of all, we got a lovely welcome from the daughter of the owners the minute we walked through the door. Debbie, the owner, then greeted us warmly and showed us to our room, which was really nice, with lovely views. The room was really nice, very comfy bed and Debbie went out of her way to provide us with... More

During mine and my wife's stay at the the highfield guest house in skipton, we experienced a very friendly and polite welcome into the well equipped and cosy double en-suite bedroom. The bedroom was very tidy and spacious which was perfect for our 2night weekend stay, besides being beside a main road it was surprisingly quite and managed a very... More

After arriving late friday afternoon to a lot of 'No vacancies' signs around Skipton, I was recommended Highfield guest house. It is only a short cycle from the town centre and with somewhere to lock the bike to, although it could have been a bit more secure for my peace of mind. I arrived to a nice warm welcome, very... The room was clean great location for the town, but sadly thats where it ends. Not a warm welcome, we were just shown ton our room and that was it. The fruit at breakfast had gone mouldy, the orange juice if that was what is was was just cold and tasteless, the cooked breakfast well what can I say I... More
