I can’t recommend this place highly enough. The hosts, Lesley and Roddy, along with their staff, are lovely. The home-cooked food is wonderful, the accommodation is comfortable and spotlessly clean, the horses gorgeous and well looked after. And of course the stunning location. The horses are matched very well with each rider’s ability and confidence level. Charlie and Roddy who... More

I came to Cae Iago as a very novice rider, only having ridden in riding schools. I came away with a new life plan, that riding and horses were to be a permanent reality in my life. I have now moved house, and have my own and four other livery horses with me, and my life is transformed. I can't... More

I spent four days at Cae Iago. I went on my own and the reception from Roddy and Leslie couldn't have been friendlier. They have the most well behaved horses I have ever come across. Very safety conscious and brilliant fun. Grooming the horses before breakfast is optional but a lovely way to bond with your horse before the day... More

Went with my (adult) daughter twice. Lovely horses and very well looked after. We were given exactly the right kind of horses for our abilities. Lovely day rides through spectacular scenery, with a stop for lunch. Nice mixture of road work and bridal paths with some good gallops. We were made very welcome at the house, and special diet was... After 5 visits to Caeiago Riding Centre spanning a few years it is like a home from home. Good food, brilliant, well-mannered horses and lots of "crack" with Roddy and Charlie. The weather doesn't even get in the way with waterproofs readily available; riding through the mountainous Welsh countryside couldn't get any better. There is always a wonderful hot meal... More
