This is our favorite place to stay in Northern Ireland! My husband and I first stayed at Maddybenny Farmhouse B&B several years ago when it was owned and managed by the inimitable Rosemary White and her husband. Now their daughter-in-law and son, Karen and Fred, continue the tradition of generous hospitality, charming accommodations, delicious breakfast choices, and peacocks in the... More

I arrived late afternoon and the door was lying open of the B&B so went in and called hello, then rang a bell on a bureau and a very rude young man came out and showed me the doorbell which I should've rang - I apologised and explained the door was open and I didn't realise and he never responded.... We went up to stay in Maddybenny for a weekend and had a wonderful time. We had a great time walking around the farm in the morning and looking at all the animals, they have horses, cows, donkeys, ducks (and ducklings!) Peacocks and Geese. We then had a riding lesson in the afternoon which was brilliant, the horses were perfect... More

Just back from a 2 night break at Maddybenny, 6 of us stayed at Fairythorne cottage and absolutely loved it! There is so much space and wanted for nothing! The owner is really friendly and helpful too. Its in a perfect location, just outside Portrush so is really central without being in the middle of the town! We actually had... More

I recently arranged for a group of 40 colleagues to stay in the MaddyBenny holiday cottages and we had an amazing stay. We rented 6 cottages in all, and Karen was able to tell me exactly how many single and double beds were in each cottages right away in order to accommodate the tricky sleeping arrangements. Fairythorn cottage was one... More

Wonderful host. Great breakfast. Perfectly situated for visiting Bushmills and really the rest of Northern Ireland. Even better to read in the garden and forget one's cares. Loved watching the kids learning to ride and visiting the horses.

I don't think I can add much to the good reviews already posted. I would add that Karen has the best dining room of any of the B&B's we stayed at! Everything from our view to the country lanes were a feast for the eyes, and gave us a much-needed rest for our souls. I'd love to go back and... More

We recently stayed at Maddybenny and all I can say is what a fantastic place. Myself, my mother, my niece and my daughter arrived with two horses at 9.00pm in the evening. We couldnt have received a warmer welcome, stables were prepared and quiet, our large family room was spotless, warm and welcoming. We had help to move our bags... More
